Made of thick wood that has a glossy black lacquer finish. Each piece is expertly hand painted with charming Japanese scenes. Large serving bowl measures 11" diameter by 4" tall.

Small serving bowls measure 6" diameter by 1 1/2" tall. I consider the set in excellent condition.

No major dings or scraps. A couple of tiny spots of scuffing but mentioned for accuracy only.
