Dai: Katana in Shirasaya with Koshirae (NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Token). Signature: Omi Kami Hojoji Tachibana Masahiro (first generation). (Gold inlay) Futatsu Do Raku, Tomita Yaichizaemon Jo Shigetsuna (Kao). Ue Wakige, Shita San, Enpo 9 Kanoto-Tori Nen 3 Gatsu 12 Nichi. This sword made between 16611673.

The paper for Dai says Estimation paper. Katana: Omi Kami Hojoji Tachibana Masahiro(first generation) Gold.

Tomita Yaichizaemon Jo Shigetsuna(Kao) Ue Wakige, Shita San, Enpo 9 Kanoto-Tori Nen 3 Gatsu 12 Nichi. This sword was judged as the NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon sword. (We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku). This sword belongs to yo Jyo saku Jyo Saku Regular saku J.

Habaki: Silver foiled single habaki. Blade length : 71.4 cm or 28.11 inches. Sori : 0.4 cm or 0.15. Width at the hamachi: 2.95 cm or 1.16 inches. With at the Kissaki: 2.01 cm or 0.79 inches.

Kasane: 0.66 cm or 0.25 inches. Of The Sword 750 Grams. Edo Period Around Kanbun Era. About 3.5Cm Suriage, Machiokuri Katana. But The Signature Remains Completely There Is A Gold Inlay Cutting Test.

Jigane: Ko Itame hada well grained with Jinie attach. The Jigane is typical Edo Hojoji school. Hamon: Nie Deki, wide Suguha with soft Nioikuchi. Special feature: Oumi Kami Hojyuji Tachibana Masahiro was named Takigawa who was bone at tajima province. Later on he moved to Edo and communicated with grat master Kotetsu.

Wakizashi: Omi Daijo Fujiwara Tadahiro This sword was judged as the Tokubetsu Hozon sword. Habaki: Gold foiled double habaki. Blade length : 43.9 cm or 17.28 inches. Sori : 0.8 cm or 0.31.

Mekugi: 2 Width at the hamachi: 3.13 cm or 1.23 inches. Width at the Kissaki: 2.08 cm or 0.81 inches.

Kasane: 0.69 cm or 0.27 inches. Era: Edo period around Kanbun era. Shape: Rather wide and thick nice shape Wakizashi.

Jitetsu:: Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach like Konuka hada extremely nice jigane. Hamon: Nie deki, suguha with rather thick nioikuchi and round shape Boshi.

Special feature: Tadahiro the Second forged this katana. He was born Heisakuro Hashimoto as a legitimate son of Tadayoshi.

Tadahiro was only19 years old when his father passed away in1632. But he was enough skillful to forge sword at that.

Tadahiro designated the Omi-Daijo in 1641, aged 29 and continued not only forging sword. But also supervised many pupils until his death in 1693, aged 80. He is known as a skillful swordsmith almost all works are above the standard hizen-to.

He had been forged sword for a long period of time to leave the largest number of swords among the swordsmiths of Hizen school. Was good at both of Suguha-hamon and Choji-midare Hamon. Especially the beauty of Jitetsu called konuka-hada is appreciated as the best among the hizen-to. Swords are ranked at the Owaza-mono because of the sharpness.
