(Koto)-Moritaka saku (Kongobyoei)-NBTHK Hozon paperKoshirae/Saya Rare! It is a rare Koto Tanto which was made in Muromachi period and aged Koshirae and Shirosaya. Blade has a sign -Moritaka saku (Kongobyoei)- that is attached to recognized by NBTHK Hozon paper. Hozon paper said it was made Kongobyoei Moritaka. Moritaka is very famous and rare swordsmith who was activated in Chikuzen Koku from the Nambokucho period to the end of Muromachi period.
This Moritaka is made around a middle of Muromachi period. Hamon and Hada are keeping good condition though there are aged thin wound and scratch because of old polished. It is very rare and keeps the same style of full as when it was made from 500 years old.It attach aged Demenuki styled Koshirae and shirosaya. Koshirae fit blade perfectly and shirosaya is old.
Blade is 36.9cm in full length, Temper part 26.3cm. Kosirae is 41.8cm in full length. K (Nihon Bijyutsu Token Hozon Kyokai) Hozon paper. (Please note) Sword is not return accepted because of very difficult fo import procedure in Japan.
