Rare, Edo period Shinto sculpture, depicting Daikoku shinto deity. Daikoku regarded as household God, who brings luck abd prosperity to the house residents. Often such votive sculptures would be placed near the house entrance to invite fortune and ward off bad lack. Wood with patinated and weathered surface. Age: Edo period, 18-19 th century.
