This technique (underglaze colours other than blue) was brand new to Japan at the time, as it was only brought there by Gottfried Wagener, a German chemist, at the end of the 19th century. Decoration : A group of Chinese people (men, women and children) in a garden. Size : Diameter 25 cm (10).
