This uniquely shaped vessels utilizes various techniques throughout the piece. Certain areas are constructed in a traditional cloisonne enameled manner, while other parts utilize a form of Ginbari with transparent enamels and the use of Gold Stone; multiple technique were utilized in this piece. The piece showcases a wonderful Scene featuring Wisteria and elements. This was probably made in Japan's Meiji Period (January 25, 1868 - July 30, 1912) or just thereafter. Listing is for the pair of vases (you get both).They are about 7.5 inches (19.05 cm) Tall, it's a nice size piece. The pieces are are in good condition and has normal wear from age including scratches and some oxidation. Item presents well but has imperfections and enamel loses; the rim/base has imperfections as well. Given the dark colors used in this vessels, the imperfections damage, is hard to see; but nonetheless the piece displays well.
