Takagari (Hawking or Falconry) was a privilege of Samurai class and hawking played important part in upper class Samurai warrior life. This painting was once mounted on a screen. Original condition with expected patination, light staining and minor paper loss due to the age. Size114cm/55cm (45 / 21.6inch).

Age:17-18th century Edo period. Natural patination and some abrasions as seen on the photos.
