Rare Antique Japanese Lock

I believe this to be an original and not a reproduction. Locks like this were generally used to hold close the doors of a chest, for example.

Consists of 7 moving rings on a rod held securely in place with a lions head on each end. Each ring is engraved with numerous symbols. When the correct combination is found, it will unlock, and the inner rod will slide out.

Has good patina and a nice weight. Please look at all my pictures for condition.
