Outstanding RARE Shape Japanese Kutani Bud Vase c1890 Late Meiji Period L@@K

No cracks or chips in this beautiful Kutani bud vase. I'm saying this bud vase is circa 1890, around the time the US started requiring a stamp on imports that indicated the country of origin. There are two scraps of paper labels on the bottom of the vase, both of which appeared to be in Japanese, so it is likely this vase is older even than 1890, or was not made for export. The detailed artwork suggests this may be a vase from the Watano Trading Company, but I have no absolute confirmation of that. I only know it is in that style.

If you want to be sure, get your expert appraisers to review the photos. Hopefully, you'll figure out what you have here before someone snatches this bargain up!!! I have correspondence from the Gotheborg site confirming the rough age and quality of this vase. You will also find the site gbouvier dot com leads you to an appreciation of the value of this particularly rare vase.

If you sign up, you'll find similar vases, but few of this exceptional quality and NONE of this form. This is an OUTSTANDING example of the very BEST quality Kutani from the Meiji period, and in a RARE form with exquisite decoration on all sides, a true sign of quality and workmanship. Take the virtual tour of the Japanese Kutani museum and you will see that this quality vase is rare, even in their exhibited collection.
