This is a chest of drawers over 150 years old from the early Meiji era. This chest of drawers has been resized by a professional restoration craftsman to match the contemporary housing situation. The metal fittings, paint, and materials are the same as those of the old Meiji period. The metal fittings are thick and flat metal fittings, and the metal fittings are carefully carved with a chisel.

The handle has a thick warabi handle, and the metal fittings of the frame are also thick and have good metal fittings. The front is painted black and has a glossy finish.

The frame is a red bean color, and the contrast between the black on the front and the brown on the frame gives a good impression of old folk art and modern Japanese. It has been repaired with gaps on the left and right sides of the frame. The materials are all made of paulownia wood and are made of total paulownia wood, which is the highest specification among chests of this kind. There are three drawers when you open the door.
