Japan, Edo Period, 17/18th century. The body with a lobed design. The waist featuring a band of stylized flowers. The upper part and continuing onto the lid and lower part of handle has a bold relief decor of. Length(spout to handle): 5.9in/15cm. A Fabulous Japanese teapot with a bold and colorful decor! Manufacturing defects(stress fractures in the porcelain, see pictures 6,7 and 8). A chip/damage to the the ledge where the lid rests(see picture 10). A chip to the underside of the lid(picture 11, lower part). The knob on the lid has been broken off and glued back. And import VAT if applicable.
