1930's Antique Japanese Kutani Porcelain Lamp with a Mitsubashi Fixture. This lamp is beautiful and it has the Mitsubashi light socket with a string on/off rather than the usual twist which is rare.

There is a beautiful cherry blossom, bamboo and hibiscus design on the front and the back is similar only a lesser amount. There is gold accent throughout the entire lamp. This lamp is in excellent condition, there are no chips, cracks or crazing (the crackle is the real finish of the lamp). It could use a little tightening but isn't really necessary for looks or function.

I didn't do it for fear of breaking the lamp. The lamp works - both lights, but does not have a shade. Measures 18from the bottom of the base to the top of the socket and is between 8-9 in diameter. These lamps came home with a parent who served in Korea. I usually get back within a couple hours.
